Verbal: This type of communication makes the use of either written or spoken, symbols of a set of language. Non-verbal: In this type of communication gestures, body language, facial expression, sings, signals and colures are involved. Vocal: In this type of communication extra linguistic sounds are used. Mass communication Interpersonal communication: Exchange of verbal, Non-verbal or a vocal message between two persons is called interpersonal. Intrapersonal communication: Intrapersonal Communication is defined as the communication process within an individual. Extra-personal communication: In this type of communication the source is a human being where as the receiver is either non-human being or even a non-living being. Group communication: In this type of communication a source is conveyed messages to a number of audiences who may or may not be gathered in a close setting with or without the use of some electronic gadgets. Mass communication: The process by which certain message are conveyed to large number of audience which are either gathered in a close setting or scattered over the great distance usually with the help of electronic gadgets as medium. These gadgets may include radio, TV, loudspeaker, computer. Types of Mass communication

Micro mass communication: In this type of communication the audience are scattered and they are conveyed the messages by the use of channels including radio, TV and computer. Macro mass communication: In this type of communication the audience is gathered in a close sitting and they are conveyed different messages with the help of loudspeaker, megaphone and projectors.
